Why is this class going to be any different than the others?
My approach to preparing for any standardized test is to get into the content. That means working with actual REAL practice tests. Each section of the test is addressed individually with my sessions, and you will receive tip sheets for each individual section along the way. Once we have focused on the individual section, we will move on to a more comprehensive review.

What will we cover in this course?
We will cover each subsection (English, Math, Reading, and Science) and then finish with 1-2 full review sessions where we combine everything we have learned. I have seen it all by now, so I can do it all. And don’t worry, we will use that book. Almost three full ACTs will have been completed by the time we are finished with the course.
Who will be teaching my student?
Me! Jed Hilbert. I don’t hire out the teaching to other people; you will be working with me the whole time.
What do you know about the ACT?
I have taken the last 30 released ACT’s dating back to June 2010. My average score over that time is a 34, and I keep learning the more I take it. But, one thing is for certain, the basic content never changes. So, I can give you a great scouting report for your next test.
Will there be homework?
Of course, but nothing too demanding. You can look forward to about an hour of homework each week, and I will make sure to go over all of it the following class.
If the ACT is optional at some schools now, is it important?
It’s more important now than ever! Having a good score next to your name is way better than no score at all. Don’t leave it up to your dream college to decide if they want you or not. Ace the ACT and make them an offer they simply can’t refuse!
What if I need to switch classes one week? Is that possible?
YES! I can almost always switch someone if something comes up. I get it…things come up; folks are busy! Just let me know ahead of time, or even the day of, and I can almost always accommodate.
